USS Freedom Comes to Duluth
Sunday, October 26th, 2008The USS Freedom sailed into the Duluth Harbor at 12:30 today. She is currently undergoing sea trials and will be commissioned in Milwaukee on November 8th, 2008. She is expected to be in Duluth for several days and will be docked at the DECC. The 377 foot-long Freedom is the inaugural ship in a new class of Navy surface warships. Our guests at Solglimt Bed and Breakfast were able to watch the newest member of the US Navy fleet come to Duluth this afternoon.
