Find a cozy chair next to a fireplace, curl up, and finish that knitting project in time for Christmas. Brace yourself for a day of shopping with a hearty breakfast prepared specially for you. Calm your nerves with a cup of tea after you return to the inn, parcels in hand. We are close to the downtown shops, making shopping excursions from the inn easy and convenient.

Unwind from your day in the city with a long walk on the beach. One of our favorite things to do at this time of year, when the air is crisp and cold, is to star gaze. Nothing calms our spirits and fills our souls with wonder quite like the universe spread out over Lake Superior.

After a few days relaxing here, you’ll be ready to take the holidays by storm. Whether you are hosting the event at your house, or traveling to be with friends and family, you will be ready. We always look forward to Christmas here, when our grown children return with their families for a nice long visit.
