Lake Superior is Thawing

As you can see, the ice is starting to break in front of our Lake Superior bed and breakfast. That’s good news for shipping, which resumes on the lake April 1.

    I am a watercolor artist living in southern Illinois. As a young teenager I lived three years in Duluth. I have very fond memories of visiting Park Point. Duluth is where I first fell in love with art. It is such a beautiful city and I love Lake Superior. I hope to be able to visit the city this summer to do some painting. Thank you for providing the webcam.
